Instructions

1. Elections of the Association shall be held on Saturday, 19th October 2024. The term of the Executive Committee of the Bar Association shall be for a period of two years. Thereafter, the elections be held on the Friday, immediately preceding the Dussehra Vacation of every alternate year. In case the said Friday is a Court Holiday in any Court, then the elections would be held on the next working Friday of all Courts.
2. The said Declaration Form for the Elections to be held for 2024-26 to be be filed on before 31st July, 2024 to be eligible to cast their vote and contest in the ensuing election on 19th October 2024.
3. The membership subscription should be paid through cheque / Electronic mode from his / her own Bank Account by 31st July, 2024 to be eligible to cast their vote and contest in the ensuing election on 19th October 2024.
4. Declaration can be filed in the following manner by 31st July 2024
   1. Hard Copy: As signed hardcopies in bar office.
   2. Email:
      • A scanned copy of the declaration with signature of the Member may be sent to the Bar from the Member's own email to the email designated for receiving the declarations by the Bar.
      • The Member sending the declaration through email should not send more than one email from his own email i.e. "One e-Mail ID One Declaration".
      • The designated email is stba@salestaxbar.com
      • It is further clarified that No Declaration would be accepted through SMS, Whatsapp and by Post / Courier etc.
   3. Whatsapp: Not eligible
   4. Post / Courier etc.: Not eligible.
5. These Affidavits of Declaration have to be filed by all the members who are interested in voting or contesting the elections for the year 2024-26, irrespective of the fact that Affidavit of Declaration has been filed by them in the previous years.
6. Declaration must be signed.
